Winter has hit us quite severely for early December.....
Temperatures will remain very low with London & the South east possibly seeing some snow tomorrow !!!
So much for Global warning !!!!

I agreed to cover someone's shift on the road tomorrow afternoon. That was silly wasn't it! The gas has finally had to go on. Woke up yesterday morning and my house was 13c,. I wouldn't even play golf in that temperature let alone deal with it indoors! Looking forward to the bill end of December,,,,not!

Zico,
I thought i would save some money by turning the heating while i was away from Monday morning to yesterday afternoon.
Got back at 3pm...temp indoors was 9 degrees.

Too Much Too Young ouch 13 was bad enough. My problem is the auto button on my program box in the airing cupboard is stuck on "on ", so use the thermostat to adjust as can't afford a new box. Could be worse it could be stuck on off!

Couple nights ago I went to bed with it being -24C and woke up with it -1C
Been around freezing during the day and 5 or so degrees under since. Problem being we got a few dumps of snow earlier, so it melts a bit during the day and then creates skating rinks of the roads overnight.
Drove about 450 miles Wednesday, tons of fun.
